such a good song, i don’t even need a reason to use it…
so today saw an early start, awake just after 2 and raring to go for a run at no specific pace, just what came naturally.
legs feeling good, blisters healing. was definitely tired though, had a long nap on the bus.
the day as a whole is a little flat. looking forward to a rest day tomorrow and then my first ever 5km event!
02:15 – energy gel and drink of water
02:30 – run (see below)
03:45 – recovery shake. 1 berocca, 1 x multivit, 3 x fish oil capsules, 1 x glucosamine, zinc tablet
04:15 – bowl muesli, 2 slices toast and honey, orange juice
04:50 – bus, nap
05:45 – coffee
12:00 – hainanese style chicken rice
14:15 – bus, nap
15:45 – push-ups & core (see below)
16:45 – cup of tea, toast & honey
18:00 – chicken, bacon and avocado club sandwich & wedges
21:30 – glass milk, 3 x fish oil capsules, 1 night-time multi. bed
run
got the day off to a great start, with a thoroughly pleasant 6.5km run – no specific pace, just a steady run to get the blood pumping through the limbs after yesterday’s intervals. Didn’t check the pace until I got back – very happy with the consistency throughout the entire run!
