16 oct 2013 – counting stars

i headed down the gym for a simple session this morning. it’s abs challenge rest day, so i simply did my push-ups and a 5km row. i also weighed myself before training, half expecting a small gain (i’ve been constantly peckish since the half marathon).

the number on the scale lit up my face. after the small (300g) increase last week due to carb-loading and other factors, things were well and truly back on track this morning. the read-out said 112.0kg – a loss of 2.4kg from last week, and a total of 30.6kg since jan 2012!

aside from the 30kg milestone, this also takes me under 250 pounds for the first time in a very very long time.

all up, not a bad start to the day!
