woke up feeling refreshed after a solid night’s sleep, slipped on the running gear, headed out the door and 30 seconds later got completely soaked!
still, it’s only water. the two hardest things about running in the rain at 4 in the morning are avoiding deep puddles and avoiding injury by slipping/sliding/twisting.
with a day of rest behind me, I managed a faster time than I did for the same route on Tuesday, and avoided the aforementioned hazards.
03:30 – biscuit, glass of water
03:45 – 6.67km run – 50m 55s
05:00 – 2 slices toast, tomato, bacon, 2 eggs. orange juice
05:25 – bus, nap
07:00 – black coffee.
09:30 – choc & oat bar
10:30 – orange
11:30 – wholegrain roll with cheese. red apple. banana & apple bread.
12:30 – spinach & ricotta cake
14:00 – chicken & broccoli pasta bake
14:15 – bus, nap
16:00 – slice toast
18:00 – tacos with shredded chicken, cucumber & tomato salsa
21:15 – glass milk, bed
